2. Data Migru collects
- Migraine attack logs: date, severity, duration, aura, pain location, triggers, notes, and related context.
- Trigger logs and selected migraine trigger patterns.
- Medication definitions and medication intake records.
- Doctor and appointment records entered by the user.
- AI chat history and messages submitted to the "Ask Migru" feature.
- Google sign-in data used for authentication, such as name, email address, profile photo, and account identifier.
- App preferences such as language, theme, badges, XP, streak, and profile settings.
- Approximate location, only when the weather snapshot feature is enabled, to request one-time weather context. Migru does not continuously track location.
- Analytics and crash diagnostics used to improve app quality and reliability.
3. How Migru uses data
Migru uses data to show your migraine diary, help you understand trigger patterns, generate migraine log reports, add optional weather context, provide account security, improve app quality, and support premium features such as extended forecasts and report views.
4. Service providers
- Google Firebase: authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, Analytics, and Crashlytics.
- OpenWeatherMap: optional weather snapshots based on approximate one-time coordinates.
- AI infrastructure: response generation for the "Ask Migru" feature.
- RevenueCat and Google Play Billing: subscription status and premium entitlement management.
5. Health information and medical disclaimer
Migru is a migraine tracking and journaling app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Migru may help organize information for your own awareness and for conversations with healthcare professionals.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not ignore or delay professional medical advice because of information shown in Migru.
6. Data retention and deletion
Account data is kept while your Migru account remains active. You can delete your account from inside the app or request deletion from the public account deletion page: https://mymigruapp.com/account-deletion.html.
Verified deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Aggregated analytics that no longer identify your account, crash diagnostics, or limited records required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or billing reasons may be retained where necessary.
7. Security and storage region
Migru transmits data using modern encrypted connections such as HTTPS. User records are stored with Google Firebase infrastructure, including European Union regional storage where configured for the app database. Firestore security rules are designed so users can access only their own account data.
8. Children
Migru is not intended for users under 16. The app asks for age confirmation during onboarding. If we learn that an underage account has been created, we will delete the account and associated data.
9. Your choices and rights
- Access and export your data from inside the app where available.
- Edit or delete individual records in the app.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy help.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Migru changes. Important updates will be reflected in the app, on the website, or in the store listing as needed.
